seven habits
Ever read "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People"? I read it once, and while it was pretty interesting, I failed to have the life affirming, attitude changing experience so many people have when they read this book. Occasionally I find myself Creating Synergy or Starting with The End In Mind, or most frequently, Sharpening the Saw, but it's not a conscious effort.
Anyway, I think my Seven Habits of Highly Ineffective people are more attainable.
1) Habit One. Procrastinate! Why bother doing it now when there are 24 perfectly decent hours to work on it tomorrow?
2) Habit Two. Practice Negative Self Talk! Remember, you are fat and lazy, and can't do anything right! Plus, your intonation sucks, and you will probably die of cancer in a year, anyway.
3) Habit Three: Talk a big game, but then don't actually do anything. Ideas are better than reality!
4) Habit Four: Discourage Those Around You. Why rise to the occasion when you can pull everyone else down?
5) Habit Five: Slack.
6) Habit Six: Develop selfishness! Others could care less, watch out for yourself!
7) Habit Seven. Whatever.

Lol!
My mom gave me that book 10 years ago.....I gave it away last year. The only habit I remember is do the big things first? (which I don't do anyways-the little things are so much more fun!)
Like the Artist Way better and the Flylady adage that you can do anything in 15 minutes.
Have a great day!
Heh. I think I could develop these habits: I may in fact have been born good at them. Rad.
Great post--I just started checking out your very fun blog. Great writing!
